Xiaomi announced Mi Mix 3, the latest in a full line of mainstream telephony series. It is another high-end Chinese device that increases the ratio of screen-to-body by hiding the front camera to the sliding mechanism. Notch is not required. However, unlike Vivo Nex or Oppo Find X, the slider is not driven by the motor. CEO Lei Jun suggests this design when compared to existing sliding phones.
The previous two MiMix phones were a pioneering attempt by Xiaomi to reduce the bezel as much as possible, but they are now preempting the ubiquitous notch and placing a self-contained camera under the screen at the bottom of the screen, I was forced to handle it at an angle. Even Xiaomi itself adopted Notch with Mi 8 earlier this year. However, Mi Mix 3 corrected one of the seemingly major flaws while preserving the spirit of the series.
Xiaomi reduced the "jaw" at the bottom of the display by almost 4.5 millimeters compared to the 93.4 percent Mi Mix 2S screen-to-body ratio.
Spec Mixer 3 moves series to OLED with 6.4 inch 1080p panel. There are four cameras in total. There are four 12-megapixel wide-angle and telephoto modules on the back and a 24-megapixel self-camera with 2 megapixel sensors on the front. Your phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back, so unlike Oppo Find X, you do not have to blow up the camera every time you unlock it.
This year, Mike Mix 3 has a Snapdragon 845 processor, but disables the new memory base, including 10GB of RAM. Xiaomi also bundles mobile phones with a 10W wireless charger. The 5G version will be released in Europe next year.
Xiaomi's launch event is now under way in Beijing. We will update soon as we provide additional information, such as price details for China and India.
